![]() ![]() In Native mode, MultiRack does the actual plugin processing. In SoundGrid mode, MultiRack is just a controller for one or more SoundGrid servers on a SoundGrid network. Just to be more specific: there are two different "flavours" of MultiRack: "Native", and "SoundGrid". It always feels like the solution is through a waves server, maybe that's the only solution but, I'd like to hear anyone else experience with Dante on the x/m series consoles. Can I use Multirack with the Dante card and see an improvement in functionality/latency? -Can Multirack and Virtual Sound Check be used simultaneously, especially if I'm using plug-ins for the show and want to edit them -Do you use a stage box(DL or S series) to get signal situated at either FoH or Monitor world and then broadcast through the Dante? I've done some research online and have found most answers to be vague and not existent for Dante, especially with Multirack. We are now considering getting Dante cards for all of our consoles. I've used the basic USB card to get Waves multirack to work with my computer and the results were ok with some tinkering. I'm aware of the Soundgrid servers and most of the waves based solutions. If I am wrong and they do exist, any links to such would be appreciated and I apologies for bogging down the site with a repeat thread.
